College Sponsorship Program
Hands of Hope has had the privilege to aid four students in obtaining a college degree.
We currently have had three college graduates in total. One is our current 6th grade teacher at Hands of Hope Trust School while another leads our kitchen team. Another graduate is now a nurse serving the very compound Hands of Hope is located. Our 4th student just started Zambia Agricultural College in August of 2023 with the goal of leading the sustainability efforts in Mumbwa!
Hands of Hope college sponsor recipients for a college education have a requirement to work at least five years with a Hands of Hope project.
Typical costs with sponsoring a student in the college program is around $1,500-$3,000. These fluctuate based on the exchange rate and degree.
We believe that this ministry is so important to be able to see individuals be able to use their degrees and professions to uplift their own communities to live a life with Christ while demonstrating and encouraging what true life-transformation looks like.
